The Rockwall Independent School District Health Center is open to employees and their dependents covered by the district's healthcare plan. Those covered can receive medical care and not be charged a deductible or a copayment. The health center is located at 1193 T.L. Townsend Road on the north side of the Utley facility.

BASIC CARE Care includes, but is not limited to colds, flu, sore throats, annual physicals, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, health risk assessments, respiratory infections, well woman exams and lab work onsite. Medical visits to the new Health Center are completely voluntary and private. Medical information will not be shared with your employer.
HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT In addition to basic care, the RISD Health Center will offer a free annual Health Risk Assessment (HRA). The HRA is an in-depth analysis of more than 28 key lab results plus other health measures indicating high cholesterol, diabetes, liver function, chemistry levels, nutrition, prostrate cancer, hypertension and more. From a simple blood draw and on-line health questionnaire, you will receive a detailed report that explains your results through color-coded graphs to help you better understand your scores. Armed with this powerful tool, you can review your health risks with a doctor in detail, prepare a plan of action and track trends that are essential to healthy living.
HISTORY After exploring ways to continue providing 100% healthcare coverage for employees while still being good stewards of the taxpayers' money, the RISD Board of Trustees approved the implementation of an on-site health center. A feasibility study of an on-site healthcare health center showed a projected savings for the district of $915,672 over the first three years. The district then formed a partnership with the CareHere! management team which will oversee the day-to-day operations of the health center.
