Mission Statement
Rockwall ISD Finance Department is responsible for many financial issues involving purchases and budgeting to make Rockwall schools the finest anywhere. We recognize the importance of clear and complete communication to the community about how resources are allocated and used. Regardless of the kind or size of financial allocation, our goal is to maximize student achievement. Since we believe that the District is accountable to meet the needs of all students, budget decisions and resource allocations are made by the personnel that directly impact the learning process. Campus principals and staff members play an active role in making focused requests that target improved student performance.
Superior Achievement
RISD received a “Superior Achievement” rating under the state’s Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. The “Superior Achievement” rating is the state’s highest rating that can be obtained by a school district, demonstrating the quality of RISD’s financial management and reporting system. This is the seventh year of the rating system and the district has received a superior achievement each year.
