Mission Statement
The Child Nutrition Department of the Rockwall Independent School District believes balanced, nutritious meals are fundamental to the physical and emotional well-being of children. We are an integral part of the learning process and strive daily to provide an exemplary atmosphere and excellence in food quality and service.
Nutrition Overview
The Nutrition Department is responsible for administration of the National School Lunch, School Breakfast and School Snack programs. We provide meals that meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2005, while honoring student preferences. We meet all local, state and federal guidelines and regulations. Our school kitchens receive very high ratings from city health inspectors. Our staff is well-trained and certified to provide quality food and excellent customer service. The Nutrition Department partners with the Rockwall County Committee on Aging to provide over 130 meals daily to home-bound senior and handicapped citizens. Our staff also manages the concession stands at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium and the Aquatic Center. We have an outstanding catering team that can provide any level of catering service requested.

Parents and other family members are welcome to dine with us! Please register at your school's front office and obtain a Visitor's Pass.
